I moved to Burgundy Place in 2002. I was a widow living alone and lonely. Since moving to Burgundy Place I have made friends and never feel alone. You have your privacy in your apartment of course, but there is always someone around.
It is a safe and secure place to live. We have the safety features in our room, and if there is any emergency such as weather-the security man and other employee's help us get to the a safe place.
The staff that works here is kind to everyone and will always help you if you need assistance. I'm very glad I moved to Burgundy-It's one of the smartest moves I've ever made.
Bette Williams Apartment 2002

I was living in Texas but wanted to come back to McAlester (home). I knew exactly where I wanted to live: Burgundy Place. No roof to replace, no foundation repairs, no yard to tend; someone to take me to the doctor, the grocery stores, banks, etc. Everything we need is here for us, including excellent security.

I moved here on August 1, 2009, and felt at home from the very beginning. We can have as much privacy as we want and I have some of the nicest neighbors I have ever had in my life. The staff is so helpful and work at making our lives better. I truly love it here and do not want to live any other place.

Our family became aware of Burgundy Place's first class living accommodations when our mother, Mabel Voss, came to reside at Burgundy in 2001. Since mom was very happy there at Burgundy, Carl, Linda and I thought that our sister Charlotte would be happy there as well. We were very pleased that Charlotte agreed to re-locate there.
The Burgundy Place staff has always been courteous, kind and helpful in dealing with the residents as well as their friends and family. And, most of all, we are so glad that Charlotte is happy and is in a very positive environment.

I would like to go back a few years and Thank God for inspiring the one or ones who are responsible for Burgundy Place, which I have found to be a wonderful place to live. The staff could not be more wonderful and caring. It will be 6 years in april and I am planning on a few more. If you are looking for a lovely place to spend your twilight years come join us, you won't be dissapointed. Gods Blessing to all

It seems almost impossible that I moved in almost a year ago. I had a major change in my life. My family and friends felt that it wasn't the best idea for me to live alone anymore. I was hesitant. I would have to leave my home, a neighborhood and friends that I loved, but in the end I moved.

It has been the best decision I could have made. I love it here. The apartments are very nice, the services that are provided (housekeeping, laundry and transportation) are so nice. I have a new neighborhood with wonderful friends, that all look out for each other. I feel very safe here and there is always something to do and someone to visit with. I have flowers on the balcony, but i don't have to mow and water the yard. I get to enjoy the beauty of a yard and flowers without the work.

If you are considering a move, this is the best place in town. It is a good value for the money and provides many services for those of us that are no longer able to do it all ourselves. Thanks to Lorie and staff for all you do to make this a great place to live.
